English Premier League Preview

Manchester United vs Arsenal:
In the biggest game of the weekend Man United square off against Arsenal in top of the table clash. Man United come into the game following a great win against Chelsea last weekend, while Arsenal struggled to a win over bottom QPR. This game offers a great opportunity for United to put space between them and Arsenal and to keep pace with the leaders Chelsea. Arsenal have shown that they have enough to best the small teams, but will continue to struggle against the top sides. Man united will prove to strong for Arsenal and collect all three points.
Prediction:
Roddi: 2-0 Man Utd

Sunderland vs Aston Villa:
two sides that are struggling to get results, with Villa in the doldrums hovering around the relegation zone, having struggled while fielding a team far too young and inexperienced team. Sunderland, under Martin O’Neil, are a solid hardworking defensive unit, but have a hard time scoring goals, will hope to get off the mark against this weak Villa side.
Prediction: Sunderland
Roddi: Sunderland 1-0 win
Ali: 1-1

Norwich City vs Stoke City:
Norwich come into the game on a 2 game unbeaten streak and will feel that they a have good chance to extend it one more weekend. Meanwhile, Stoke come into the game on the backs of results that have not matched their performances and will look to get it right this weekend with a win. However odds aren’t in their favor as they are much stronger at home than they are on the road. Norwich get the win and extend their streak.
Prediction.
Roddi: 2-1 Norwich
Stoke: 3-1win

Tottenham Hotspur vs Wigan Athletic:
Spurs are getting it right under Andreas Villas Boas, by beating the teams they are supposed to beat. Wigan is a team that falls in that category. Wigan have had a patchy inconsistent season and again look like they will be fighting relegation.
Roddi: Spurs win 3-1
Ali: 4-2 spurs win

Swansea City vs Chelsea:
Chelsea even with last weeks loss to Man United, Chelsea are still the team to beat. Currently in 1st place by a point and still the most potent offense in the league. Swansea continue to want to do it by playing “good” football but will come up against a Chelsea team, that will outclass them and rebound from their loss last week.
Prediction:
Roddi: 3-0 Chelsea
Ali: 2-0 Chelsea

Fulham vs Everton:
Two top 10 teams looking to break into the top 5 and both have gotten their seasons off to good starts. Everton having their best start in years and will look to get back to winning ways after a tie in the Merseyside derby. While Fulham have a fit Dimitar Berbatov looking in fine form and scoring goals. It will be a close fought game, but Fulham will get the win.
Prediction:
Roddi: 2-1 win Fulham
Ali: 1-0 win Fulham

West Ham United vs Manchester City:
West Ham are adjusting well to life in the premiership with some decent results and have themselves firmly mid table, while the champions Man City, have struggled to find top gear but are grinding out to results and find themselves in 3rd place Man City will prove to have too much quality and talent not to get a win.
Prediction:
Ali: 1-1 draw
Roddi: 2-1 City win

Queens Park Rangers vs Reading:
A huge bottom of the table clash between two promoted sides, who have found life difficult in the premiership so far. This is a legitimate six point game with dire consequences for the loser. QPR’s Mark Hughes needs a win desperately, as a loss could cost him his job.
Prediction:
Roddi: QPR 2-0
Ali: QPR 2-0

Liverpool vs Newcastle United:
The Brendan Rodgers Liverpool revolution hasn’t quite gotten off the ground, but they have been unfortunate on a number of occasions not to get result after some fine performances. Newcastle who are playing a good brand of attractive football, will be worthy opponents and will make it an attractive game. Liverpool at home, will get it all right including the result.
Prediction:
Ali: 2-2
Roddi: 2-1 Liverpool
