The Dutch playmaker is stalling on all possible moves it seems with the possibility of playing in the Premier League with fast improving Liverpool.

Having already stalled on an a new deal with current club Inter Milan, favorites Galatasary may be trumped at the last minute.

The Holland star is still only 28 Years old, a one time target of Sir Alex Ferguson and Manchester United, it seems that after failing to sign Sneijder on countless attempts, Sir Alex has gone cold on him and has found his answer else where. If he were to sign, it will be for a small fortune as he currently receives £160,000 a week and would be looking to get over £200k a week as he will be near the end of his star-studded career. On top of that, it would have taken a fee of £40 million to sign him just a year ago.

The Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers seems to think he has a good chancing of luring Sneijder despite the fact that an offer of £8.2m has already been accepted.

So what has changed for Liverpool? I’m referring to all the transfer activity in the market. I think they have finally realized that to be a competitive team in the Premier League you need to have good players and it’s not enough to have a good tactician and Brendan Rodgers clearly seems to fit the bill. So having only just signed Daniel Sturridge, they are now moving in for one of Europe’s top creative midfield players. And with Gerrard working with him in the middle of the park, it could spark a much-needed revival for Liverpool. Who should Sneijder sign for? Should Sir Alex Ferguson still try to sign the player he was so keen to sign just a year ago?
