Real Madrid legend Ronaldo has replied to Sir Alex, claiming that Real Madrid have “shut his mouth for me.”

Sir Alex explained that his words were meant “affectionately”, but Ronaldo was disappointed to hear the sarcastic words, and believes Real Madrid victory will keep the old man quiet.

“Real Madrid shut his mouth for me,” he told reporters in Brazil, before adding his hope that “the team managed by Ferguson always loses.”
