Rather than breaking the bank to recruit a striker, FC Barcelona has decided to gradually promote the young Cameroonese Jean-Marie Dongou.

“Dongou, plan B”. The Spanish sports daily Mundo Deportivo did not beat around the bush, the attacker’s future at Barcelona is Jean-Marie Dongou (17 yrs old). No need for the Blaugrana to  recruit a No. 9  in the next mercato. According to the article, the idea is to mature the Cameroon player  quietly with the reserve to integrate him gradually in the A team.

And so far, everything is going as planned.In eight appearances in  Segunda Division (four starts), he has already found the net twice.
