Barcelona an average team without Messi

With 25 minutes to go, A Messi-less Barcelona team look daunted as PSG shocked them with an away goal to make it 2-3. It’s incredible what the little Argentinean means to the Barcelona side, you could see the Barca players spirits drop and also visible in their faces.
Where is our talisman, they were yearning? As soon as the goal was scored, the cameras went straight to Messi, and there he was, he pulled up his socks over his shin guards and he made the decision, I am coming on. No coach required here, it was his decision!!!

Fabregas was the one sacrificed and as soon as Messi came on, everything changed. The entire stadium sounded different. The players oozed confidence. There is no doubt that Messi is the best player on the planet, closely followed by Cristiano Ronaldo.

There have been many countless articles written, commentaries made, awards won, but what was highlighted more than in most games and days is how badly Barcelona need the Argentinian magician and how average this team is without him.

Messi is Barcelona, without him they are just another team, and the likes of Xavi and Iniesta have also been able to walk amongst the greats. Would they be walking with him if it wasn’t for his presence in the team? I don’t think so. And it was proved today.

Unfortunately, this is all conjecture. We will never know the truth. I would love for Messi to leave this team and continue his journey somewhere else, so we can really see how good Barcelona are without him.

  Best answer! There are many Barca haters simply because of the dominance they bring into the football game. Every team has its ups and downs and to say one thing on the second leg, barca were more vulnerable than the absence of Messi. In fact the fact that they went to the semis is proof that they are capable of doing anything even in the absence of some of their best players. Bravo Barca!!

Pointless. It is what it is. The 1st PSG goal at home started on a error the proviso play was not a
foul and Idra was outside but the goal went in. Their goal at Camp N. was also out side. Yes the player did
not receive the ball but he was
there the rest of the play and was pulling a defender all the way to goal; again
the goal went in. PSG are here to stay they are good they came out
to play and Barca did what they had
to do to go through. This deal is not black
and white.

Let’s just hope we get a Barca
Vs. Madrid Final. And that the UEFA have the sense to rig the next
draw to make it so.
